What is the purpose of The First Tee and its Chapter network?

The First Tee is an initiative of the World Golf Foundation. The focus is to give young people of all backgrounds an opportunity to develop, through golf and character education, life-enhancing values such as honesty, integrity and sportsmanship. The First Tee home office is located at the World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Florida. The mission of The First Tee is to:

Impact the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and educational programs that promote character-development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.

A Chapter is a non-profit, tax exempt entity granted a license to promote The First Tee brand and to use The First Tee curriculum to conduct The First Tee Life Skills Experience at facilities and affiliates. The First Tee of Eagle County is one such Chapter in a growing network of over 200 Chapters both within the United States and abroad.

How can I become involved or donate to The First Tee?

There are a number of ways to donate to The First Tee of Eagle County and whether your gift is financial or material (equipment), it is certain to touch the lives of hundreds of young people involved.
