Joe Perry is a new resident to Eagle County, but has shared his love for the mountains and this community for many years. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Joe grew up visiting the mountains of Colorado and always knew that it would be a place he would eventually call home. Joe is a graduate of Dartmouth College where he received a Bachelor Degree in Economics.
Joe Perry is a Co-Founder of RedSky Financial LLC since 2000. Mr. Perry is a former member of the Chicago Board of Trade where he traded interest rate products. Mr. Perry also founded and managed JPP Trading, a proprietary trading firm. Prior to forming RedSky Financial, LLC, Mr. Perry founded and managed JPP Securities, a trading firm that offered various day trading strategies to individual investors. Joe serves as a Member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and is a Managing Member of Speed Trading Group, LLC.
Throughout Joe’s life he has been committed to helping serve children in need and spent his college years working in a child care center and enjoying every moment of the experience. His support as lead investor in Healthy Heroes, LLC, a company committed to health, nutrition and emotional well being for children illustrates what really matters to Joe, helping him maintain his 'kid at heart' attitude. Joe also serves as a Board Member for the Lynn Sage Foundation, a foundation dedicated to breast cancer research, has volunteered as a basketball coach and now is a new member to the Millennium Society, having a good time while promoting philanthropic ideals among Vail’s 'generation next'.
Joe will be a tremendous asset to the Youth Foundation as we continue to grow and look for sustainable solutions to enhance the lives of children and families in Eagle County.
