Chris Hynes

Chris is a new resident to Eagle County, but has shared his love for the mountains and this community for many years. Chris and his family recently made their primary residence in Cordillera. He comes to the Youth Foundation with extensive experience in the field of business and finance. Chris has spent his career working in investment management for State Street Global Advisors managing international portfolios and developing the firm’s brokerage business.

Despite Chris’ ambitious career, he has also dedicated much of his life to serving the communities in which he lives. Chris was a director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston for ten years, where he served as a member of the Executive Committee. Chris also has served as a Trustee of Pine Manor College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts for the past nine years. Chris’ vision and enthusiasm for the Youth Foundation will be a great addition to the Board of Directors, “My charitable interests are aligned toward a belief that America only works if every kid has a chance for a better life. I believe this need starts in early childhood, includes higher education, and may continue through life in terms of business and personal finance development.”
