Gary Woodworth

It is with great pleasure that The Youth Foundation welcomes Gary Woodworth to our Board of Directors. Gary moved to the Vail Valley from San Diego, CA in 1980. In 1987, Gary joined The Gallegos Corporation as Director of the Plaster and Stucco Division. Managing various offices and divisions throughout his career with The Gallegos Corporation, Gary was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2007 and now serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer.

Gary balances the demands of running a large corporation with the time he spends with his wife Dacia Belisle-Woodworth and the 4 children and one grandchild they share between the two of them. He is also passionate about working on the family's personal ranch in Gypsum.

Gary volunteers his time with several community projects that are special to him, including The Youth Foundation's Challenge Nature program, the 2015 World Alpine Ski Championships planning committee, and the Eagle Valley High School's Project Graduation.

Growing up in a large family provided Gary with an easy rapport with children and is one of many reasons he has chosen to become involved with The Youth Foundation. He relishes the time he spends with the children The Youth Foundation serves and is very proud to have joined the Board of Directors. Having raised 3 children in the Vail Valley, Gary's dedication stems from the understanding that not all children have the same benefit of a close and supportive family such as he and his children enjoy. Gary especially enjoyed assisting Amy Marino with her Challenge Nature Program at Berry Creek Middle School and is looking forward to providing additional time, energy, and support to The Youth Foundation and its beneficiaries.
