Jill Alfond - Founder, The Millennium Society, Local Philanthropist
Andy Arnold - Andy Arnold and his wife Ann Newman have lived in Vail for 21 years and
raised two children. He has served as a managing partner in firms engaged
in management consulting, investment banking and private equity.
Christine Bakalar - The Youth Foundation is excited to welcome Christine Bakalar as one of our newest board members. She brings a wealth of knowledge from her 30 years of volunteer experience, serving on the boards of organizations that assist people who live on the margins of society and struggle to find respect, education, career opportunities and healthcare.
Bob Brown - President and Chief Operating Officer of Swift Communications; Serves on the board of the Vail Valley Charitable Fund.
Keith Brown - Former US Ambassador to Denmark and Lesotho; Founder of Vail: Keith has served on the boards of Boys and Girls Club of America, the Colorado Academy, and International Institute of Education/World Affairs Council in Denver.
Doe Browning - Philanthropist and Artist
Doe serves on the Social Committee of the Vail Valley Foundation, is involved with the Town of Vail Art in Public Places Board, is founder of the WinMax Foundation, and serves as a board member to the Pulley Foundation.
Ron Davis - Past Chair of Perrier USA, CEO, Davis Capital, Chair of Guardian Scholarships, Board of Directors Boys Hope, Girls Hope, Board Chair of Vail Valley Medical Center, education committee member of Vail Valley Foundation
Tina Fleishman - is a long time local of Eagle County, serving families and children as a mentor and phsychologist for more than thirty years. Originally from New York, Tina came to Colorado to attend Colorado College and later pursued graduate and doctoral degrees at the University of Denver.

Chris Hynes - Hynes Capital, Former Investment Manager, State Street Global Advisors: Chris served as former director to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston and is a Trustee of Pine Manor College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
Mack Nichols - Former President and Director, Mallickrodt Inc.; Serves on the board of Habitat for Humanity of Eagle and Lake Counties and actively involved with Eagle River Presbyterian Church.
Joe Perry - Business Entrpreneur; Co-founder of RedSky Financial and is a Managing Member of Speed Trading Group, LLC; Joe serves on the board of the Lynn Sage Foundation and is a member of the Millennium Society.
Kathi Renman - Kathi Renman is Managing Partner of The Renman Group of companies, a Los Angeles based real estate investment consortium. Founded in 1961, The Renman Group has been successfully involved in the acquisition and development of local commercial and industrial properties. Since assuming control in 1999, Kathi has spearheaded the expansion of the family business into the new millennium. Kathi's extensive and diverse knowledge of the real estate industry has been instrumental in the company's profitable investments in ever changing markets.
Don Remey - The Youth Foundation is delighted to welcome Don Remey to the Board of Directors. Don and his wife Nancy have been involved with the Guardian Scholars program of The Youth Foundation, and Don willingly accepted a role as a board member, eager to become involved in many aspects of The Youth Foundation..
Dick Rothkopf - Richard (Dick) Rothkopf joins the Board of the Youth Foundation bringing a keen understanding of the challenges faced by families struggling to make ends meet and a passion for early childhood education.
Mark Smith
A native of Denver, Colorado, Mark holds an undergraduate degree in real estate from Florida International University and a master’s degree in management from Nova University. He is the founder of the Youth Foundation, along with the Platte Forum, the Riverfront Park Community Foundation, and the Downtown Denver Youth Foundation.
Phil Smith - Former CEO & Chairman of Pillsbury and General Foods; has served as a trustee to the National 4-H Foundation, St. Augustine Diocese Foundation, Guardian of Dreams Foundation, and the World Education Foundation.
Sandra Smyser - Superintendent, Eagle County Schools
Sandra has served as superintendent for nine years in school districts throughout California and Colorado;
